The Hunterian, University of Glasgow, houses 21 record books of the practice founded by John Honeyman in 1853. These date from 1852 to 1968 and include job books, cash books and a visit book. They are a rare survival documenting the history of a leading Glasgow architectural practice and are the cornerstone of the Mackintosh Architecture research project. The volumes covering the Mackintosh years 1889 to 1913 were digitized as part of the research project; the images are available here. Transcribed and tabulated data from the job books is available in the individual catalogue entries. The cash book pages are searchable via the Cashbook Index. A transcription of the cash book is also available for browsing.
The thumbnail images provide access to images of all pages in the office record books (with the exception of blank double-page spreads). They are shown in double-page spreads numbered according to the number on the top left-hand page.
