John Crawford

Plumber

Plumber John Crawford (born Ayr c. 1853–4) moved as a teenager to Glasgow. His father worked there as a house painter. 1 By 1891, he had established his own business in the prosperous village of Bridge of Weir, 15 miles west of Glasgow. 2 He continued in business at least until 1925, listed as a plumber and gasfitter in Ranfurly or Bridge of Weir. 3
