John Honeyman & Keppie made alterations to this large detached house, built in the 1860s during the laying out of the suburb of Dennistoun. The work included a new retaining wall and asphalt pavement around the N. and W. sides of the house; a small rear extension containing a basement bedroom and a ground-floor 'still room' with glazed walls; and minor internal alterations including the remodelling of a first-floor room as a 'spray room' – presumably a shower room.

Authorship: The drawings have annotations in Mackintosh's hand indicating he had some involvement in the project, but it is not known whether this was as draughtsman or in a design capacity.
