Contractors submitted tenders for a cottage for Alfred Allison Todd in September 1898. However, none of these tenders appears to have been accepted and no payments are recorded, suggesting the work was abandoned. Neither the proposed location in Bridge of Weir nor the design for the cottage is known.
Honeyman, Keppie & Mackintosh designed a house for Todd, Headington, at Bridge of Weir, built between 1902 and 1905.
Authorship: This is one of over 270 jobs carried out in the office of Honeyman, Keppie & Mackintosh (Honeyman, Keppie & Mackintosh from 1901) during Mackintosh's time there. Mackintosh undoubtedly worked on many of these, but there is no specific evidence for his involvement in this case.
Status: Unbuilt
